The brief
Scott and Sid Studios came to us with an established creative direction for a website that could properly represent its feature films, television productions, documentaries and commercial campaigns. Our role was to translate that direction into a responsive Webflow build without losing its cinematic character.
Because every production has different material, the team also needed more than a collection of rigid templates. The finished system had to make room for trailers, photography, technical information, behind-the-scenes material and project-specific storytelling.
Bringing the supplied design to life
We recreated the intended typography, spacing, image treatments and visual hierarchy in Webflow, adapting every element for desktop, tablet and mobile. Large-format photography, full-screen video, bold statements and layered content preserve the visual impact of the original designs while keeping the build manageable.
Creating a cinematic homepage
The homepage behaves more like a production showreel than a conventional company website. Video-led sections introduce current productions and commercial campaigns, allowing visitors to move quickly into trailers, project pages and behind-the-scenes content.
The site showcases work including Project Yorkshire, Scott and Sid, In the Shadows, Tommy Banks: Spinning Plates, and campaigns connected with Call of Duty and Thrudark.
A reusable design system
We created a flexible library of Webflow sections rather than building every page as an isolated layout. The team can combine full-screen video or image heroes, project introductions, trailer embeds, galleries, production summaries, statement panels, cast information, testimonials, technical capability blocks and calls to action.
Sections can be added, removed and reordered to suit the story of each production while retaining a consistent visual language across the site.
Video and production capabilities
Vimeo and YouTube integrations make trailers, campaign films, showreels, production sizzles and supporting footage part of the browsing experience. Dedicated content blocks also explain camera technology, cinematic movement, aerial filming and in-house post-production without overwhelming the visual work.
Responsive, manageable and ready to grow
Large videos, bold typography and layered compositions were carefully adapted for smaller screens. Webflow gives the team a visual way to manage the site, reuse proven layouts and expand the production slate without starting each new page from scratch.
The result
Scott and Sid Studios now has a cinematic Webflow website that brings its original design vision to life. It gives films, television productions, documentaries and commercial campaigns the space they deserve while providing a practical, reusable foundation for future work.
