The challenge
Willow Bespoke Ceremonies had recently invested in a new WordPress website, but it was not delivering the support or results the client expected. The foundations were usable, so another complete redesign would have meant abandoning a significant recent investment.
The site needed to communicate the full range of ceremonies more clearly, showcase Jane’s previous work and professional recognition, and build much stronger visibility for people searching for an independent celebrant in North Wales.
Improving the existing WordPress website
We worked with the website already in place, improving its structure, content and usability without imposing unnecessary large-scale design changes. Presentation issues were corrected and the routes between services, previous ceremonies, blog posts and contact information were made clearer.
The result is a more professional, informative and trustworthy experience, with stronger calls to action that help visitors move naturally towards making an enquiry.
Expanding the celebrant services
We created and expanded dedicated content for wedding celebrant services, bespoke weddings, elopements, wedding rituals, handfasting and sand ceremonies, vow renewals, baby naming ceremonies, funerals and celebrations of life.
Each page now explains how the ceremony can be personalised and what clients can expect. The expanded structure also gives the website many more opportunities to appear for specific, high-intent Google searches.
Showcasing past ceremonies
Choosing a celebrant is a deeply personal decision, so we introduced and expanded case studies featuring real weddings and ceremonies. Photography and personal stories demonstrate how Jane adapts her approach to different couples, families, locations and occasions.
These pages provide genuine examples of the care and creativity involved while strengthening the service content through useful internal links.
Highlighting an award-winning celebrant
Jane’s qualifications, awards, memberships and industry recognition were not prominent enough on the original site. We created a clearer awards area and reinforced those trust signals throughout the customer journey, helping visitors understand her experience and reputation from the outset.
Building trust through reviews
Customer feedback is now much more visible across the website. Reviews from couples and families show Jane’s ability to create warm, personal and meaningful ceremonies, whether she is conducting a joyful wedding or supporting a family through a difficult farewell.
Developing the blog
We expanded the blog into a useful resource covering weddings, elopements, naming ceremonies, funerals and celebrations of life. Articles answer common questions, explain ceremony options and guide readers towards the most relevant service or enquiry page.
This gives Willow Bespoke Ceremonies an ongoing way to publish helpful, locally relevant content while reaching people at the early research stage.
Strengthening local SEO
Local search visibility was central to the project. We expanded location-focused copy, improved titles, descriptions, headings and page structure, strengthened internal links, optimised images and performance, and supported the client’s Google Business Profile, local listings and backlinks.
Search engines now have a much clearer understanding of both the services offered and the North Wales locations the business serves.
Creating clearer enquiry routes
Calls to action were added across service pages, ceremony stories and blog content. Visitors can now easily discuss a wedding, elopement, vow renewal, naming ceremony, funeral or celebration of life without having to search for the next step.
Improving website performance
We reviewed plugins, corrected technical and content issues, refined page structure and checked the experience across desktop, tablet and mobile. This created a smoother website while supporting the wider SEO work.
